In December 2020 Misenga Primary School had three functioning classrooms accommodating 600 students. Three further classrooms had been partially constructed by the local community, but a lack of funding made completion of the roof impossible. Some very generous donations made by supporters in response to our Christmas 2020 Roof Appeal enabled construction of the roofs to be completed by June and as a result, the number of students attending the school rose to 1,672.

MAC is supporting the school management in their fight to become registered and state funded. We have begun a campaign to raise £25,000 to seed fund new school premises on a site bought by MAC.

During an early visit MAC members delivered messages of support to Chimfinsa School from the children of Brookburn Primary School in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, South Manchester, with a gift of 50 football shirts they had donated.

MAC provided initial finance for a chicken rearing project at the orphanage. A proportion of the funds raised from the sale of the grown birds was used to support their orphaned and vulnerable children.
