There was no sun to be seen on the damp and drizzly day in August 2015 when Amy, friend Rachel and brother Ollie held their first fundraiser, a Book Fair. They’d decided that instead of throwing away or passing on the books they’d grown out of, they would sell them and donate the money they raised to MAC. For the next few hours they stood cheerfully in the rain, chatting to passers-by who stopped to look and buy the books. By the end of the afternoon they’d raised £30!
